RSS feeds

RSS feeds are an technology that allows people to organise the news updates that they wish to view, making it more efficient and timely, people can selected what area of news they have an interest in and get updates from that topic, saving time and ensuring you get the news you are looking for.
I like that rss feeds allow you to select and news area that you are interested in and can get updates for only the news areas you wish to look at saving time and you don't have to go through the whole website or listen to all the news to get to the articals you are interested in.
this would be good in a library because it would allow patrons to find articals they are interested in more quickly and by doing this it will shorten the time they are on the computer and this in turn shortes the wait time for other patrons wanting to use the computer.
